I have worked in the field of Social Services for over 20 years. I am a counselor who believes that each person I see is unique even given similar circumstances and I aim to get to know as much about you as you are willing to share with me. I have walked with many people through hardships and I have experienced my own traumatic events as well. All of these experiences together lead me to the individualistic style of counseling practice that I have. I use an Individualistic approach combined with Humanistic, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and other pieces of approaches that seem to fit the individual need. I encourage clients to continue their counseling journey to the extent that they feel comfortable and confident in their progress. I like to focus on education and tangible things that you can do outside of counseling to find your comfort zone more easily.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub receivespay fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
