I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 25 years of experience working with a wide variety of patients issues and concerns. From my earliest memories, I have been fascinated in human behavior. I knew my path in life would lead me into the behavioral health. During my educational path, I have achieved an Associates in Applied Science, Bachelor of Arts Psychology, Master of Arts Community/Clinical Psychology, Master of Art General Psychology and advanced PhD studies all but dissertation. My treatment approaches vary widely depending on the needs of the person. The therapeutic process may require changes in treatment approaches as issues and concerns are further examined. Therapy is a process that I believe is best suited when decisions regarding treatment are openly discussed and decisions are made jointly between therapist and patient. I am experienced working with children as young as 5 years old, teens and adults. It takes a great amount of strength to reach out for help. I believe building a strong trusting therapeutic relationship is the first step toward successful outcomes.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
