Welcome! I'll be brief because the real reason you're here is not about me; it's actually “About You”. Something is transpiring in your life journey, which caused you to seek assistance, insight, guidance, or a helping hand. Whatever it is that brought you here, I'm truly grateful because that says something powerful about you: You're ready to regain a part of your life that feels shaky. I believe in empowerment and the ability of each client to discover within him/herself hidden answers. I am very down to earth and non-judgemental. I take each client through a process of understanding themselves, as well as their history. Most times, understanding who you are today, has much to do with early development and experiences. First order of business for me as a counselor is ensuring you of how I see your journey. You are here today because you are seeking wellness in your life. When we use the words mental illness, for some, it attaches stigma to the process of wellness and recovery. The help I can provide, and the success of your journey is in the most part reliant upon you and your willingness to get to the destination we uncover in your mind. I believe in giving homework. I never plan to keep a client long-term. My objective is to empower every client to learn how to process situations they may face, as well as to gain the tools necessary to navigate difficult situations independently.
