Aloha, I have been in the mental health field for over 20 years. I have my Masters in clinical mental health counseling and have spent the last three years working at an inpatient psychiatric facility. I am opening up my doors to help those with mental illness on a more personal level. I enjoy helping others and helping them achieve their mental health needs. My primary therapeutic theory is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. However, I also believe in the power of staying positive and being positive and encourage all of my clients to find what makes them happy and focus on it. Clients can expect to take away new insight into their issues and a better understanding of their mental health needs and goals. They can also walk away knowing that the person on the other side of this screen cares and is determined to assist them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We only list providers where we have a contractual relationship with a network, group, or practice that a provider is a part of, or where we have a direct contractual relationship with the provider. That contract governs the terms of participation on the Psych Hub site, and in some cases, as mentioned below, the provider’s, group’s, or network’s use of Psych Hub's educational content. Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
