Therapy can be Fun, Exciting, and Inspiring; with hopefully some bits of humor if possible. You're hesitant since it's your first time in therapy. You feel empty, hopeless, and depressed. Every day is a struggle due to anxiety and low self-esteem. Maybe you have past family trauma that hasn't been resolved. Perhaps there are cultural confines that have made you feel shackled, lost, and voiceless. I help people dealing with depression and anxiety by confronting issues that they are afraid of. My goal is to empower you to take control of your life by dealing with the issues that have not been resolved or those that you fail to be aware of. It could be scary and uncomfortable but growth happens when we are in an uncomfortable state. I can promise you that I will be your ally during this journey of growth and discovery (and have some laughs too).
