Yarei Rivera
Hi! My name is Yarei and I am a licensed clinical social worker based out of sunny, Florida. I am an authentic, energetic, and affirming therapist and I really enjoy helping others navigate the complexities and challenges we all face. I have helped others overcome difficult circumstances, and my own life experiences have allowed me to have a very patient and empathic response. To see someone walking in their full potential, free of hindrance, is truly one of my life's greatest joys. I approach therapy as a very individual process that should cater to the client and their needs. Everyone is different, but ultimately, my goals are to meet the client where they are and see them accomplish those things identified as valuable for them. Regarding therapeutic interventions, I am comfortable in using a mix of cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness techniques, goal setting, and spirituality and faith to accomplish the goals the client came with. You can always count on being heard, affirmed, and encouraged in your sessions with me. I am naturally a very hopeful individual and I work to highlight the good and strong things that I always seek to find with my clients. Reaching out for help is one of the bravest things you can do and I am a firm believer that all things are possible and nothing is too difficult to overcome.
