Welcome to a journey of healing and personal growth. I am a neurodiversity-informed Licensed Professional Counselor with a primary focus on supporting individuals through neurodiversity, trauma, depression, anxiety, life adjustments, acculturation, grief and loss, and multicultural issues. With over a decade of experience, I utilize a blend of therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs. These include Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existential Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
My approach is to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space where we can explore difficult feelings and life challenges together. Whether you are dealing with negative thoughts, processing feelings, or facing life's hurdles, I am here to support you in navigating these paths.
As someone who has been married for 12 years and a mother to two young girls, including one with autism, I understand the profound impacts these experiences can have on personal relationships and self-perception. My personal journey through family trauma and navigating the dynamics of special needs parenting provides me with a unique perspective that enriches my practice.
When not in the office, I am deeply involved in community service and enjoy connecting with nature. Whether I am hiking, gardening with my family, or dancing to Afro-Zumba music, I believe in living a life filled with purpose and joy.
I am dedicated to reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness and empowering my clients. If you are seeking a partner in your mental health journey, I look forward to working with you to heal, gain insight, and thrive as the best version of yourself.
