I attended the University of South Florida, graduating with a Bachelor of Psychology & Master of Social Work degree. I've been in the medical & mental health field for 10 years serving in various capacities. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I've had experience working with individuals, groups, and families from all backgrounds & ages. I provide treatment for anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum & bipolar disorders, depression, grief/loss, LGBTQ+ related topics and trauma. I aim to provide a safe space for all clients where they will meet with an open minded, non-judgmental and caring therapist. I structure sessions according to treatment goals and use a variety of modalities such as mindfulness based practices, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, behavior modification and others as appropriate. One of my core goals of therapy is to empower the individuals I work with. To do this, I try to educate my clients about their symptoms & provide coping skills, resources, and other supports as needed. I think my clients can expect to walk away with more insight and information regarding their experiences; furthermore, I hope they walk away feeling more confident in their ability to manage their mental health symptoms.
