Adriana Valdez
I’m an LCSW. I earned my MSW from USC in 2008. While my career began with adolescents, I now primarily work with adults who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stress, and parenting. As a neurotypical therapist, I am deeply committed to understanding and providing support that is affirming and inclusive. My goal is to create a safe, empathetic, and collaborative environment where clients feel heard and respected in their unique experiences. My approach to therapy is collaborative and active. I bring compassion, understanding, and a genuine commitment to your treatment goals. I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Depression (IPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Focused techniques, as well as Strength-Based strategies. I also ensure that your unique background and identity are respected and integrated into the work we do together. Each individual's journey through therapy is different, but the ultimate result is often a combination of healing, self-discovery, and growth, leading to a more fulfilling, balanced, and meaningful life.
