I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience in clinical diagnosis, medication management and psychotherapy . I believe in psychiatric care that is humane, holistic and patient-centered. Human beings are NOT unidimensional and your mental health treatment should be comprehensive and holistic. My practice philosophy is based on fundamental principles of unconditional acceptance, genuineness, and understanding. Through a therapeutic relationship, my goal is to optimize your mental wellness while building an environment of trust, safety, and acceptance in each session! At the end of our session you should feel heard and understood with a clear understanding of our collaborative treatment plan moving forward. Sometimes, as part of treatment medication is necessary- if this is the case, I take the time to address questions or concerns you may have about medication management. I am here to listen attentively and work as a team along your healing journey. My educational background and training include : – Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – University of Florida -2017 – Master of Science in Psychiatric Nursing (MSN) – Florida International University- 2023- Summa cum laude - Practicum Experience at Jackson Community Mental Health Clinic- Miami, Florida - Jackson Health System -2022- 2023 Clinical background and training – Over 7+ years of clinical practice with a strong clinical background and training in critical care and psychiatric care.
