Allison Rentz
The world we live in, both external and internal, can at times seem impossible to navigate. How does one navigate life stressors, past trauma, depression, and/or anxiety, especially if those tools were not necessarily modeled to us growing up? I can help provide support and be a guide through your mental health journey. In 2010, I graduated from Argosy University Atlanta with a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I have worked with individuals of all ages in various settings such as a child advocacy center, in-home therapy, psychiatric hospital, private practice, and on a military base. I currently work on the managed care side, in addition to seeing clients for individual therapy. I primarily work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma. My focus is on adults and from a trauma informed and cognitive behavioral therapy approach. By identifying how are thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are intertwined, you can begin to gain insight and awareness and facilitate change. I strive to provide a trusting therapeutic relationship and environment where you feel safe and heard. I wish you all the best on your journey!
