I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 3 years of experience at the clinical level, and over 5 years of experience at the Master’s Level working in a clinical setting under the supervision of a Psychiatrist. I have 5 years of experience working directly with sex workers, persons with HIV/ AIDS, all persons affected by substance use and addiction including pregnant women, and persons in the criminal justice system for offenses ranging from traffic citations to capital murder. I am most experienced with Harm-Reduction Education, Psychoeducation, Talk Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Breathing, Crisis Intervention/ Crisis Therapy, Strength’s Perspective, CBT, and DBT. I consider my style to be integrative, meaning I tailor each session to meet my client’s needs. I pick and pull from different modalities to create a tailored approach, utilizing various different therapies in each session. Everyday is a new chance to devote effort in ourselves with a goal to make ourselves better than the day before.
