Amber Woodward
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and board certified music therapist (MT-BC) who has been a therapist for over a decade. I have master's degrees in social work and music therapy. I'm a BIPOC musician, mom, wife, feminist, and geek and each of these identities helps me connect with my clients on a deep and authentic level. I'm a firm believer that the things we love help us appreciate the world in a different and more meaningful way. I work with adolescents and up. I'm trained in DBT, CBT, and EMDR, and use techniques from bibliotherapy, music, and geek therapy. All the things that make you "you" can be incorporated into our sessions to help get to those breakthrough and "a-ha" moments. I meet you where you are and always keep it real. If you're in a moment of transition, experiencing burnout, or looking for hard skills and approaches to better move through a world that isn't super supportive, then we should work together. We'll work together to create the perfect mix of approaches that resonate with you and use them as needed to make sure you always feel seen, heard, and supported.
