Angela Cornett
Adolescents and young adults are facing many more obstacles earlier and earlier. Often we are not emotionally or mentally prepared at this young age to face the challenges these hurdles bring. I can help you find your inner strength to face the conflicts life has placed in your path. In 2018, I graduated from Lindsey Wilson College with a Master's Degree in Counseling and Human Development. Now, as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC), I have been working in individual practice for 6 years. I primarily work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, and trauma. Prior to individual practice, I worked in the schools as a qualified mental health professional for adolescents who struggled with anxiety, depression and oppositional defiant disorders. I focus on adolescents and young adults, using cognitive therapy and mindfulness to assist my clients in breaking down the issues into manageable pieces. I will strive to build trusting relationships so that you feel safe and heard. Together, we can find the steps to overcome the overwhelming barriers you feel in your life.
