Throughout my career as a mental health therapist, I have worked directly with clients navigating through trauma, divorce, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, and substance use issues. I also have unique experience in working with military veterans/prior service members of all eras and their families. I am inspired by resilient individuals who are aiming to enrich their lives, make sense of chaos, and find healthier ways to cope with their struggles. Through different interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, I work with clients to learn/practice mindfulness, self-awareness, self-reflection, and focus on identifying thinking patterns that keep us in a cycle of anxiety and depression. I believe strongly in the relationship between mind and body. As a certified/registered yoga instructor, I bring the knowledge and practice of yoga to my mental health practice to help you bridge that connection between your mind and your body.
