Hi my name is Ashlee! I'm an independently licensed therapist specializing in Anxiety and Depression working with Adolescents, Adults, Couples and Families. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. I have 6 years of working experience as a licensed counselor and currently independently licensed in the state of Kentucky and Georgia. My mission is to help instill a sense of hope and allow the opportunity to open your eyes to a new perspective on life less desirable and unfortunate circumstances by assisting you in creating a positive view of the self and empower ones confidence in their own ability to be resilient in overcoming adversity through focusing on one personal strengths. I have worked with a wide range of ages from ages 4-60+ providing individual, family and couples/marriage counseling. I have also worked with clients with a variety of diagnosis and issues including depression, anxiety, OCD, grief, personality disorders, PTSD/trauma and couples’ issues (infidelity, poor communication), etc. I have spent multiple years working with teens in the foster care system in both outpatient and residential settings who have experienced various forms of trauma.
