Beth Deyoung
Beth DeYoung is an experienced nurse practitioner specialized in the fields of psychiatry and family medicine. She has been practicing as a nurse practitioner for over 7 years and has over 20 years of experience in the field of nursing. She has provided services to adult and geriatric populations with a variety of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, bipolar, and sleep disorders. She has worked in the field of geriatrics, oncology, ambulatory surgical services, occupational medicine, family medicine, urgent care, intensive care, and inpatient psychiatry. Beth is passionate and committed to providing personalized, holistic, thoughtful, and patient-centered care. She believes that transparency, working and learning together as a team, and listening are foundational components of the most optimal outcomes. Her goals are to provide a safe place to share, honest, but thoughtful, feedback, and expert guidance through empathy, compassion, education, diagnosis, and treatment. She believes in following best practice and updated treatment guidelines, as well as ongoing learning. Outside of her practice, Beth is an avid collector of memories, moments, shells, pinecones, poetry, and all things lovely. She finds solace in the great outdoors, enjoys being active, appreciates art, crafting, music, and, most of all, family. She finds striving for wellness and balance in all aspects of her life, physically, mentally, and spiritually, to be vital to her wellbeing and, as such, encourages her patients to also seek out what is vital and meaningful in their lives to enrich their wellbeing.
