I bring warmth, kindness and a sense of humor to my work with children, families and individual adults. You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, loss or change. Loss or change is an inevitable part of Life; together we figure out how to tackle it in the best manner I primarily use solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapy as my approach to counseling. I am licensed as a professional counselor, Colorado Addictions Counselor III and marriage and family therapist. My specialty is in the family-based treatment of addictions. In the first session, I want to establish safety and comfort with me while establishing some first goals for therapy. I am less interested in a clinical assessment initially, and instead focused on what you want to get from therapy. You are more likely to reach your goal when you are clear about what you want.
