Brian Ring
Brian Ring is a highly skilled clinician with more than ten years of experience in the field of mental health. Over the past seven years he was employed by the United States Department of Veteran Affairs as a mental health therapist and certified Evidenced Based Trainer for Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Depression. Mr. Ring has had extensive experience in the area of trauma, including sexual trauma during his tenure with the Veterans Administration and treated both veterans and their family members. He was certified with five evidenced based mental health protocols issued during his tenure with the United States Government, including: Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain, Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression and Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Depression. Mr. Ring was also a member of the Veteran's Administrations International Mental Health Rapid Response Team, which provided worldwide assistance in the event of natural disasters overseas. Mr. Ring holds an MSW from Adelphi University in New York and received certification as a Master Addiction Counselor by the National Certification Commission of Addiction Professionals in 2016. Mr. Ring believes in a collaborative, compassionate approach to psychotherapy which includes spiritual healing in order to assist clients in achieving their mental health goals. Mr. Ring loves animals and has had six Siberian Husky's over the past 20 years. He is very active in his church and graduated this year from Charis Bible Collège in Woodland Park Colorado.
