Catherine Moxley
Are you struggling with a major life transition or past trauma? Do you feel stuck in the stress of everyday life, or in trying to be good enough? All of these things can have negative impacts on our wellbeing and take up our mental space, time, and energy. We are left feeling as if things won't ever get better. I can join alongside you and serve as a guide as we learn about tools which can help you manage your life's challenges. I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, or impacts from past trauma using a variety of approaches such as DBT, CBT, and EMDR. I believe in creating a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, express their emotions, and work collaboratively towards growth and healing. Through evidence techniques such as mindfulness and cognitive restructuring, I empower clients to effectively manage stress and regain a sense of balance. With specialized training in trauma-focused therapy and EMDR, I assist clients in processing past traumas, building resilience, and reclaiming control over their lives. Whether it’s a career change, relationship shift, loss, or relocation, I help clients navigate the uncertainties and adjustments that come with major life changes. I help guide individuals in exploring their self-concept, challenging self-critical thoughts, and fostering a compassionate relationship with themselves. I view therapy as a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. I recognize that each individual is unique, and will tailor my approach to meet the specific needs and goals of my clients. By fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship built on trust and empathy, I help clients cultivate resilience, unlock their potential, and live more fulfilling lives. If you are ready to begin your journey, please reach out to me for a free 15 minute consultation. I look forward to speaking with you!
