Are you feeling stressed or overwhelmed? Do you have little interest in doing things you once enjoyed? Are you at your wit's end or feeling unsettled or tired of wrestling with ongoing issues? Do you need to talk and have a place to find some support and clarity? Is past trauma causing you continual struggles? Therapy can help with these and other emotional and mental health concerns. You can use therapy to promote awareness, acceptance or change, and optimal mental health. I practice a Person-Centered Eclectic (Integrative) Counseling approach utilizing various therapeutic treatment modalities with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral and Interpersonal Therapy. My hope is that you will be encouraged, have increased awareness, and experience healing on a journey of discovery and growth. I am a State of Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia State University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Argosy University with a Marriage and Family Certificate. I have over 15 years of experience counseling families, couples, and individuals from young children to seniors for mental health and substance use issues. I have practiced community/ in-home therapy working with teenagers and their families and young adults in the Metropolitan Atlanta area. I have conducted in-person and telehealth therapy in private homes and boys and girls group homes. I worked for over 12 years as a Therapist at Ridgeview Institute in the Older Adult inpatient stabilization unit treating mental health and substance use issues. Let's talk! Maybe I can be a help on your mental health journey.
