Chantel Kufeji
“When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.” —Paulo Coelho. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years of experience serving adolescents, adults, and families. I am Nigerian and Jamaican, originally from Miami, FL, but I reside in Atlanta, GA. I obtained my Bachelor of Social Work degree from Florida A&M University and my Master of Social Work degree from Barry University. I have facilitated various trainings to educate childcare workers on how to provide services to underserved youth and their families. I have worked in many roles, from case manager for children and families to director of a psychiatric hospital. I have experience working in the mental health field, assisting individuals struggling with substance abuse, and advocating and supporting people of the LGBTQ+ community. Clinically, I have supported individuals, families, and couples to reach their highest treatment goals. I am passionate about social work and strive to be a strength-based change agent with a trauma-focused approach.
