Chelsea Twiss
I enjoy connecting authentically with my clients and working collaboratively to help them reach their treatment goals. I graduated from New Mexico State University in 2018 with a doctorate degree in counseling psychology. I have worked for the past five years as a licensed psychologist in Colorado specializing in women's health, chronic pain, relationships and ADHD. My approach to therapy is one that balances warmth and acceptance with growth-producing change. I believe the therapeutic relationship is a central component of therapy and I work to develop a strong, reliable and healthy working relationship with my clients. My therapy style is relational, interpersonal and client-centered. In our sessions clients can expect to build insight and self-understanding as well as work toward their individualized and defined therapy goals. Clients will be provided with a space of uninterrupted attention and focus on their concerns. Clients will also develop behavioral strategies for managing symptoms that are causing problems for them.
