It is with great pride and humility that I come to you prepared to listen and talk so together we can work for you TO BE THE BEST YOU ARE CREATED TO BE! My name is Chinwe Matilda Nzerue-Obi. I am Licensed as a Professional Counselor by the Texas Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. I got my Masters from University of Houston, Victoria. Prior to this, I was an Attorney from Nigeria: a graduate from The Counsel of Legal Education, Victoria Island Lagos and University of Jos. For Interventions, I use Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have been privileged to help school drop outs get back into school, and graduate; clients overcome – Anger, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Substance use/abuse, Parenting and Relationship issues among others. I hold a Multicultural Counseling Certification and a Real Estate License; these has enhanced my ability to work across ages, cultures and Countries. I am also a Certified Christian Counselor. No matter what the issue is, you too can be helped. When it is beyond us, be rest assured that adequate referral would be made.
