Christine Vea
I believe in empowering my clients to recognize their strengths and discover ways to seek healing from deep rooted areas of pain, trauma, and early life experiences. Working across various mental health settings and within public service systems as a Clinical Social Worker, has allowed me the honor to work with people from many different walks of life and to learn from their stories. I bring specialized experience working with children, teenagers, and parents from working alongside schools, medical providers, and within community-based crisis mental health. I have walked alongside people who have experienced poverty, houselessness/housing insecurity, trauma from abuse, anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other developmental/ intellectual disabilities. I seek to create safe spaces for my clients to feel accepted, understood, and honored. I am committed to continually educating myself on the impact I have in society as a white woman given privilege, power, and the opportunity to receive professional education. I view my place as a Clinical Social Worker as an opportunity to steward my role in society by elevating and listening to the voices of those on the margins of our society. I am here to listen and learn from you as we partenter towards seeking healing.
