I wanted to work in the mental health field to provide needed help to others. I am a father, husband, and son that understands the rigors of life. I am offering appointments after hours to provide support to those that want it but feel they don’t have the time. I am very eclectic in my therapeutic techniques which allows me to be more fluid to the presenting situation.
In 2017 I graduated from Lindsey Wilson College with a Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in Counseling and Human Development. I also have a B.S in Psychology. Now, as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I have been working with individuals, both youth and adults, experiencing clinical depression, anxiety, family relationships, autism, and other diagnosable conditions.
I use cognitive behavioral therapy and solution focused-brief cognitive behavioral therapy to help individuals process their issues through a different lens. By changing perspective, you become better prepared to handle situations and foster a sense of empowerment to enact this change in your life. It is very important to me to develop and maintain a positive and trusting relationship where you feel heard.
