Clarissa Lane
It is great to have some tools, but sometimes we all need help, especially during the harder times in our lives journey. Knowing how to make those life transitions can be very difficult. In 2018, I graduated from Appalachian State University, in Boone NC, with a Master’s Degree in Health Sciences of social work. Now as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I have been working in individual practice for 4 years and another 4 years in many different roles. I primarily work with adult clients experiencing PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Prior to individual practice, I worked for a trauma informed behavioral health center for children ages 5-18 to help them stay in their homes and out of ‘the system’. Then I went on to become EMDR trained, which is a trauma focused therapy to work through PTSD symptoms. I have worked with police officers, veterans, and anyone else whom has suffered trauma, including sexual traumas. I help clients by using different methods and techniques that fit what they are experiencing. I do that by using, CBT, DBT, and problem solving. I mainly work with adults now, and I am excited to work with you and help ease the stressors of life.
