Cory Safra
I currently work full-time as a staff psychologist and group coordinator at a university counseling center where I see a wide array of presenting conserns, from adjustment/transitioning, relationship issues, family-of-origin issues, depression/anxiety, trauma/abuse, to anything else that students present. I received my doctoral degree in clinical psychology where I had a variety of experiences, including community mental health, working with abuse survivors, offenders, and across the age range. My approach is rooted in empathy, non-judgment & cultural sensitivity. Each individual is unique & I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs & goals. By providing a warm & supportive environment, a space is created where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions & experiences. With an emphasis on client empowerment, I believe that every individual possesses the inner resources necessary for growth & change. I guide you in exploring your strengths, enhancing self-awareness & fostering personal growth/resilience. Through the collaborative therapeutic process, you gain the skills & insights needed to navigate life.
