Courtney Hale
Courtney Hale, LCSW, CDBT, CCATP, is an experienced mental health therapist in community outpatient, foster care, and inpatient treatment, working with adults, adolescents, and children. She enjoys connecting with clients in individual, couple, and family sessions and witnessing the strength and power of the human spirit. Courtney approaches sessions with compassion, curiosity, and humor, drawing on a diverse set of therapeutic approaches including dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), polyvagal mapping, and mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR). Courtney specializes in addressing challenges experienced by those identified as having depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorder, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Courtney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California. Before pursuing her passion for neuroscience and social development as a social worker, Courtney spent seven years working in the Defense technology industry. Courtney loves her job. When she’s not at work, you can find her making a mess in the kitchen and garden, or on her yoga mat.
