Navigating life’s challenges can be difficult, as often these obstacles push us out of our comfort zone. Sometimes these obstacles are apparent, such as transitioning into a new role, and other times they may be less obvious where you need some help to explore why you are feeling this way. As a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in adjustment and communication, I lead with empathy and curiosity to meet you where you are at and help you transition to where you want to be. My therapeutic niche is rooted in Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT) while drawing from core aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). I focus on the problems presented and aim to accept and challenge various thoughts and feelings related to relationships, health difficulties, and life transitions. In our first session, I strive to create a warm and inviting environment to explore what brings you to therapy. Sometimes, this may take two or three sessions, during which we will focus on understanding your unique needs and life challenges, and then collaboratively create goals that reflect your strengths. I provide my clients with a non-judgmental space to focus on themselves in a way that is authentic, safe, and promotes self-efficacy.
