Dawn Grogan
I began my practice in social work while working with foster children in the state's custody. I also have worked with active duty military for ten years. I believe this experience has sharpened my ability to work with survivors of abuse and trauma. I have ten years of expertise in working specifically with military and another 10 years specific to child abuse. When working with others I like to find out what their goals are and what they feel they are ready to work on to improve their quality of life. I encourage, validate and support throughout the therapeutic experience to help someone achieve their goals. My personal and professional experiences with childhood abuse, military and suicide that has afforded me the ability to empathize and know first hand some of the hardships associated with these circumstances. In addition, my professional experience has allowed me to learn some very effective options for helping others. I genuinely enjoy helping others and seeing them achieve a good quality of life. I look forward to the opportunity to help you identify your goals for therapy. I offer support and guidance to help you get to where you want to go!
