Deborah Norrisoberto
I have a Masters in Counseling and post-degree training in several specific modalities. I draw from all of these in my work: EMDR, TRM, IFS, Sand Tray, Play Therapy, CBT, and more. I consider myself to be a trauma-focused, person-centered counselor. I enjoy coming alongside my clients as they pursue growth and healing. I am particularly passionate about helping others process and move beyond the effects of past trauma. I am trained in the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), an evidence-based somatic approach, EMDR, IFS, Sand Tray, and Play Therapy. Everyone deserves to feel heard, seen, and understood. Establishing this in our relationship is my first goal; what comes next is based entirely on your goals. Together we will talk about what you’re looking for in therapy, and then see if we are a good fit.
