In my work, my goal is to enable clients to live in the here-and-now, take notice of their own experiences, and harness the power that already resides inside in order to create change and live happier, healthier lives. I believe life is about two things: loving and learning, and through our work you'll be encouraged to reveal and learn from what was or has been, in order to heal and love what is. I describe myself as a relational therapist, which means I am interested in examining relational patterns clients engage in that support, maintain, and prevent the challenges/symptoms they are experiencing. I work with clients to explore the relationships they have with others, within their environments, and with themselves to understand where those relationships work effectively and where those patterns need adjusts or shifts in perspective. I believe the therapeutic relationship is particularly important and work to provide a safe, compassionate space in which clients feel comfortable collaborating in their treatment. My approach to therapy is helping clients increase self-awareness by working collaboratively to unpack and unblock barriers preventing them from living in wholeness.
