I have degrees in Theatre, History, and Education with a Masters in counseling from TWU! Before beginning my work as a therapist, I spent many wonderful years as a teacher and then as a school counselor. I have also worked as an adult and couples counselor at night in Allen at a private practice. I am the mother of a 23-year-old, and I have four cats and two dogs! I was married for 20 years, divorced amicably, and am now happily remarried. I pride myself on working with others to find their way again. I am honored to work with those who need my support and guidance! I work well with marginalized groups (and I have specific training and experience here.) I am acutely aware of the additional challenges faced by non-majority people in our society (whether you’re marginalized because of race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or other factors), and these issues cannot be ignored during therapy.
