Elizabeth Muto
Hello! I've been practicing for 10+ years specializing in anxiety management and life transitions. I enjoy working with college students, "imposter syndrome", and people experiencing life transitions (e.g. loss of a loved one, break-ups, leaving a faith group, exploring gender/sexual identity). I am also a mom and can identify with the challenges of parenting. My style is supportive and encouraging. Life can be a struggle, and we all need support. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), working in somatic awareness toward a solution focused approach when possible. If you are hoping for long-term therapy, we can discuss possibilities as well. I am LGBTQIA+ affirmative and committed to anti-racist/decolonizing approaches. Examples of things we might discuss: Process a recent change or difficult past experience Relaxation techniques for anxiety management Communication skills & healthy boundaries Discussing identity (race, gender, sexuality, etc.) Letters provided for gender affirming care (1st session if needed) You'll bring whatever is on your mind to session, and I will help guide you and ensure a safe space in which growth can be made.
