I’m Emmy, a licensed professional counselor specializing in anxiety, relationship challenges, betrayal trauma, and self-esteem. My clients often describe my style as compassionate, genuine, and relatable. I aim to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel seen and heard, so we can work together to find clarity, grow, and heal in the ways that matter most to you. Together we will uncover patterns and cycles that are leading you to feel distressed, disconnected, and out of sorts. We will also get to know the different parts of you and work together to improve your relationship with yourself and others. I take a compassion-focused and trauma-informed lens with all of my clients. My aim is to create a space where everyone feels welcomed regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, or other identities you might hold! Clients can expect to immediately feel welcomed and heard. During the initial stages of therapy we will work on building a strong relational foundation and then move towards working on the goals that we set together. It is important to me that clients are getting out of therapy what they are coming in for, so we will regularly check-in to make sure that we are on the right track!
