Erin Howse
Have you been feeling stressed or overwhelmed with navigating life and it’s constant changes? Are you having a difficult time communicating and resolving issues with your partner lately? Through an integrative approach that includes behavioral, art, and mindfulness interventions I work collaboratively with clients to explore their beliefs, emotions, and patterns of behavior and support them while exploring ways to decrease their stress and/or other symptoms (depression, anger, anxiety, etc.) It is important to me to assist clients with identifying their goals for our counseling relationship, encouraging them to take an active role in our work together. I’ve worked in various settings counseling individuals, couples and families with a focus on educating, empowering, and supporting. I became a counselor to assist people in finding and using their voices; my process is motivated by helping others feel seen and heard. It’s my hope to foster a safe space that encourages increased insight, awareness, and growth for everyone I encounter. I offer in person sessions and virtual sessions, with evening and weekend availability. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life but specific areas of interest are: children and teenagers, parents, young adult women, families and couples.
