Hi! I'm Erin. So many of us deal with anxiety and unresolved trauma on top of the stressors of everyday life. I believe that no matter your reason for seeking therapy, you deserve an individualized approach that accounts for your lifestyle, environment, and changing needs and capacities. We will work together to explore past and current experiences that influence the way you feel about yourself, and how these feelings and beliefs influence your interactions with the world around you. I will support you in developing practical skills and ways of thinking that you can use to navigate day-to-day challenges, transitions, and triggers as they occur. My approach is casual and centered around creating an environment where you feel supported and heard. I am authentic and approachable, and operate from the belief that there is a place for humor in therapy. I don't believe that a person needs to have formulated a specific plan or goal as soon as they come to therapy. A willingness to collaborate and account for their part in the therapeutic process is a great starting point. I love working with folks who are struggling with the balance of maintaining a sense of self in the midst of everyday stressors. Additionally, I enjoy supporting people in processing the intersection of identity and societal expectations.
