If you have experienced trauma, you may find it difficult to trust people. And many people who have trauma may also have fears about feeling judged. It can even feel hard to trust your own mind. I'll work to create an emotionally safe place for you to tackle the things you feel are getting in the way of being able to live a fulfilling life, and to get the help you need. *(Note: A requested appointment time is not guaranteed until discussion with provider.) I have a lot of experience working with individuals to build their skills so that they can learn to better manage depression, family of origin issues, and trauma. I use the best trauma methods, and I'll teach you coping skills to help you to get relief from what you’ve been feeling and thinking. And I look forward to helping you to recover, as well. Helping people to get better is a big part of my life. I want everyone who sits across from me to feel accepted, included and unjudged. I try my best to approach life with empathy and humor. And I hope I bring that into every therapy session.
