I believe that every human being has the potential to heal, adapt, recuperate from any circumstance in their life through having a safe and supportive space. I am a psychotherapist with over nine years of training. I graduated from the Silberman School of Social Work in 2013. Post graduate school I practiced in hospital and outpatient psychiatric clinic settings with a diverse clientele of individuals of different ages, cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations and professions. My approach to therapy is meeting clients where they are and utilizing a strength based perspective . I trained and use psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Meaning Centered Therapy. My clients have been able to improve their ability to manage emotions, heal from past traumas, and increase self-awareness. Throughout the course of my career, I have successfully helped clients identify the life they would like to live and accomplish the goals, heal from trauma, and engage in self exploration. I am dedicated to providing a safe supportive therapeutic environment to allow for individuals to share openly. I am also fluent in Spanish and able to conduct therapy in Spanish.
