Hannah Gross
After graduating from Columbia University, I packed up my things and moved across the country to grow my confidence as a clinician. I've worked with age groups ranging from 7-60 years old, in environments spanning from private practice to inpatient facilities, and the one commonality we share is that we just want to feel connected and acknowledged. Whether thats us connecting in session or helping you grow further toward stronger interpersonal relationships, we will get there! Throughout my time as a professional, I have grown to understand the significance surrounding connecting childhood learnings to problems currently arising within my client’s world. I believe we can't change our current situations if we don't know what is driving the behavior or thought process. Starting at the root and establishing patterns and connections is vital in healing, growing, creating new behaviors, and changing ways of thinking. I often utilize Gottman, attachment theory, and family systems models within the therapy space. I am a firm believer that therapy is not a one-size-fits all model. Every individual is unique, and each treatment approach should be equally as distinctive. We will work collaboratively on finding a therapeutic style that best fits whatever needs, goals, or ideas you bring into the space that week.
