I am a Colorado state licensed clinical social worker in private practice, conveniently located in Cherry Creek, Colorado. What sets me apart from other therapists is my intuition and empathy. I believe the most powerful factor in therapy is that the client feels deeply understood and accepted. By providing a safe space for you to process any unresolved feelings, I can help you know yourself better and learn how to function optimally in this world. I believe it is important to deal with issues rather than push them away. I find when people push away their feelings, it can have lasting repercussions whether it be physical, mental of even medical. At the same time, it is not useful to "over analyze" and I will let you know when this is happening. I practice an eclectic style of therapy, which means I draw from different schools of therapy according to the issues we are dealing with. My specialties include a wide range of issues including, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties and self-esteem issues. We can discuss in your first session what you are looking for and what would work best for you.
