Jamee Reese
Congratulations! You are beginning the process of looking for a therapist. The relationship between therapist and client is vital to the healing process. Life can be difficult, therapy doesn't have to be. Managing multiple stressors and expectations can become overwhelming. Spending a hour on self-care in the form of therapy is worth it, you are worth it. No matter what you're going through you can get through it with support, learning new coping skills and problem solving. Learning how your thoughts and emotions affect your behaviors, you'll see that you are able to manage stress, reduce symptoms related to anxiety and depression, have healthier relationships along with improved work-life balance. Building upon your strengths and resiliencies can improve your quality on life. When you learn to recognize what you can change and manage what you can't change, you are better in control. My background includes over 20 years experience working in medical and mental health settings, which includes inpatient and outpatient. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, problem solving, resource building to help my clients. I'm married with two teenage daughters. To recharge my battery, my self-care activities include time with my family and friends, live music-concerts and travel. I hope to work with you during your growth for a happier and healthier you.
