Jameson Bock
Mr. Bock has been engaged in the field of behavioral health since 2019. His training and lived experience draws from a variety of places in life. During the pandemic he was part of the first Graduate level Behavioral Sciences Clinical Counseling cohort within the University of Nebraska to execute his practicum and experiential learning remotely. Currently, he offers short and long term behavioral health services to clientele within Nebraska. His therapeutic orientation draws from a variety of evidence based theoretical models in an eclectic and integrated manner. Mr. Bock is a mental health generalist and has experience with a host of presenting concerns, concurring and differential diagnoses. As a trained Pk-12 school counselor, he especially looks forward to the opportunity working with populations of preadolescents, adolescents and young adults. With internship experience in clinical residential rehabilitation, Mr. Bock has worked closely with those who have formal substance use, non substance use or process addiction disorders. His experience as an EAP Counselor has allowed him the privilege to work with a diverse population of persons, mandatory referrals to behavioral health, crisis responses, and critical workplace incidences. Mr. Bock works with children, individuals and couples and seeks to meet them where they are. His perspective is that through an evidence based narrative psychotherapeutic approach, everyone has a story to tell and that one is able to make adjustments and edits to their story, as they see fit. Mr. Bock is a doctoral candidate in Developmental Psychology and a licensed independent mental health practitioner in the state of Nebraska. Mr. Bock is in private practice in Omaha, NE where he resides with his wife and five children.
