Jasmine Travis, LPC, CMHC is a compassionate therapist committed to helping individuals learn how to cope with life. Whether that be trauma, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, or personality disorders. Jasmine believes that most people who see a therapist are not psychologically abnormal. Her clients are having human reactions to a complex, stressful, ever-changing world. No matter the problem, people cope in the best way they know how. Jasmine's hope is to help you cope more effectively. Jasmine is ready to walk beside and guide you on your journey to heal what has held you back, process what you've been avoiding, and resolve the issues that life has thrown your way. She sees her job as listening to you carefully, patiently, and through the lens of my professional expertise to help you identify the hidden obstacles to your greater well-being. In an atmosphere of nonjudgmental, accepting, respectful communication, you will interrupt dysfunctional patterns and build on your strengths. Each person has the answers; through our collaborative work, you will uncover the best answers for you. Together, you will use and build upon your strengths. Jasmine uses a person-centered, CBT-based approach. She believes that providing clients with a validating, safe space to share their concerns allows for the development of emotional resiliency, personal effectiveness, and improved self-worth. Outside of her practice, Jasmine enjoys building and repurposing old furniture, thrift shopping, all things Disney, crafting, and spending time with her family.
