Hi there, I am originally from Michigan and moved to Brevard County, FL in 1997. I have a BA in Communications from Michigan State University and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan. I worked for Candle Lighters of Brevard, when I first moved to town. My father had a stroke and he was in and out of hospitals and nursing homes for 6 years. His illness prompted me to go back to school at the University of Central Florida to obtain my BSN-RN. I worked Labor Delivery/Mother Baby at Wuesthof Melbourne for five years, during which time I went back to University of Central Florida to achieve my MSN/ Family Nurse Practitioner. During that time I also got divorced and was a single mother to an amazing son. I have been through many challenges and bumps in the road throughout my childhood, adolescence, and adulthood which has given me enhanced understanding, compassion, empathy, and a lack of being judgemental. I went back to school yet again, and completed my PMHNP from the University of Cincinnati.

I specialize in integrative medicine which entails finding the root of the illness and treating it with lifestyle changes, healthy diet, exercise, Bio-identical hormone replacements, supplements, and medications that fix the problem instead of bandaiding the symptoms. I believe that the mind, body, and spirit are connected and need to be balanced, to feel a sense of over all well being. I do not believe in "cookie cutter or one size fits all medicine". I believe that you know your body and mind better than anyone. We will work together to find the root cause and discover the best treatment for you! Sometimes we may have to try many different options before we find the right fit, but I am like Felix the cat I have a large bag of tricks and I am able to think outside the box!!
