Jennifer Ocampo
Hi! I'm Jenn, I'm glad you're here. I'm a bilingual/bicultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who offers empathic, non-judgmental, and collaborative spaces for humans to show up as themselves and navigate challenging situations. With a master's from UPenn and a bachelor's from Montclair State, I bring 8+ of experience in intergenerational trauma, life transitions, stress, anxiety, family conflict, self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. As a first-generation American and daughter of immigrants, I engage with clients through a culturally humble and social justice-driven lens. I believe our human systems are intersectional and influence one another, which is why I use various therapeutic modalities to best fit your needs. Together, we co-create sustainable goals that support your wellbeing and growth, combining evidence-based approaches like CBT and Psychodynamic Therapy with a person-centered, trauma-informed approach. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can bring your whole self to each session. In therapy, I prioritize empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. Together, we focus on self-awareness, healing, and skill development to support your journey. I have witnessed true growth occur when someone feels both safe and safe enough to be challenged. I invite you to reach out if you are interested in working together.
