My name is Julie Adcock. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a National Board Certified Counselor. My passion and mission in life are to help people find contentment and joy in their life. I will work with you, challenge you, and guide you to unwrap your strengths and open your mind to new possibilities. Together, we will explore solutions in your life to help you grow and thrive. My primary approach in counseling is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This approach is based on the idea that your thoughts influence your emotions and your behavior. Change your thoughts, change your life. We will examine current issues in your life that are causing you distress. I am going to help you consider different ways to think about and approach obstacles in your life. The goal is for you to leave each session with different tools to try out. I want you to feel heard, validated, and hopeful that things are going to improve and empowered that you can make changes and have the life you desire.
