I've been practicing Mental Health and Relationship Counseling since 2010 and have been in private practice since 2016. The heart and soul of my work is helping people befriend themselves. I find that this is key to alleviating the various symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, etc. I also find that it is essential for being in healthy relationships with others. I experienced my own journey toward self love and it has truly been nothing short of magical. First, I meet people where they are at, understanding their current experiences in life, listening for where they want change and need relief. I then help people look deeper within themselves to understand their internal world of structures and systems that contribute to the emotions, thoughts, and behaviors that are keeping them in the aspects of life that they don't want. This presents choices and opportunities for clients to do something different toward what they do want. Those I work with leave our sessions feeling seen, known, and understood. They feel empowered knowing themselves and seeing the choices they have to create the life they truly want.
