Hi there!
If you are reading this, you've taken a huge leap and you have shown courage because you're here, looking into therapy. Thank you for considering me to partner with you on this journey.
A little about me: I hold a License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). As a Hispanic counselor, I am able to conduct sessions in both English and Spanish and offer a culturally inclusive and collaborative approach. Also as Christian, if you choose, faith can be incorporated into therapy.
I received my Bachelor's degree in psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2011 and my Master's in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in 2019.
Over the last 5 years I have worked in the non-profit sector providing community health to many individuals with a wide variety of challenges, such as relational challenges, grief and trauma symptoms. I am trained using Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and have over 4 years of experience implementing Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), using play therapy skills and solution-focused approaches to process difficult experiences and improve quality of life.
Whether you are dealing with recent or past difficult experiences, loss, or life changes, or you are feeling disconnected, I am here to support you. Using evidence-based interventions, and leaning on your strengths, we can find the closure you might need and hope for a better future. We can change the narrative together.
